Irrigation Technician
$15 to $22.50 per hour
Looking for an opportunity where success comes naturally? Then you may have found your crew. We’re looking for an Irrigation Technician to join our team.
Here’s what you’d do:
An Irrigation Technician is able to foresee potential problems and have the specialty skills needed to solve them. Careful planning and the ability to anticipate issues are qualities which we particularly value. People with your mindset and proactive work style are just what our customers expect.
You'd be responsible for:
- Monitoring and testing new installations, troubleshoot and repair problems, observe pipe and valve placements, and evaluate start-ups, winterization and overall operation of the irrigation system.
- Conducting and recording detailed inspections and plan/execute upgrades of client systems.
You might be a good fit if you have:
- Along with supervisory skills and your proactive manner, we require a
minimum of 1 year of productive experience in the installation, inspection and repair of irrigation systems. - A valid driver’s license
- Good knowledge of trenchers, multi-meters, wire locators, ditchers and pipe sizing are also essential.
And while not mandatory, it would be great if you also have:
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Ability to create and read site map colored charts/legends
Landscape Laborer
$14 to $17.75 per hour
Here's what you'd do:
You will be required to competently perform specialized tasks including, but not limited to, irrigation installation, site preparation, grading, sod installation, seeding, drainage, erosion control, landscaping, and design and consultation services.
You'd be responsible for:
- Ensure work is being performed in adherence to safety policies and
procedures, always placing safety as the number one priority - Efficiently operate equipment necessary to complete assigned tasks
- Daily preparation of trucks, equipment, and inventory
- Report on time at expected start time to prepare/review the day’s work
- Load all tools, gas, and other necessary equipment/materials; secure all
equipment safely - Transport necessary equipment with a truck and trailer to and from the job site safely
- Ensure equipment operates at peak performance
- Maintain a professional image through attention to vehicle and equipment maintenance and cleanliness as well as a personal, professional appearance
- Complete requested services in a timely manner in order to achieve 100% customer satisfaction
- Perform regular preventative maintenance on assigned equipment
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair problems with assistance
- Respond to customer requests: correcting problems and providing solutions and/or expert advice; Follow up to ensure optimal results were obtained and customer satisfaction
- Assist in preparing and delivering needed materials and equipment to job-site
- Work in a timely manner to ensure customer needs are fulfilled and deadlines are met. Work at a pace that meets expected productivity goals
- Exhibit teamwork in all activities, maintaining a positive and team based attitude
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
- Inspect equipment before and after use
- Communicate schedules, budgets, and safety issues related to a construction project
- Plan daily travel schedule
- Establish service by studying process requirements and ordering and
gathering components and parts
Landscaper Crew Leader
$16.25 to $20 per hour
Here's what you'd do:
You’d create beautiful environments by providing landscape maintenance support to a variety of industrial, commercial, and/or public properties. You’d safely operate commercial grade landscaping equipment and ensure the upkeep of plant material and other landscaping elements.
You'd be responsible for:
- Cutting turf, trimming and edging along borders, and blowing using power equipment
- Pruning shrubs and low trees to improve the growth habit or remove
damaged branches - Planting and maintaining flower beds, Installing sod, and applying mulch
- Picking up trash and debris
- Maintaining a polite, friendly, responsive demeanor with guests
and customers
You might be a good fit if:
- Successfully performed responsibilities associated with Laborer II in a similar field
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
- Must possess a clean MVR
- Must be able to obtain appropriate licensure as directed by governing
agencies within 60 days of hire - Must be able to read and write in English
